Privacy notice

Last updated: 7 October 2026.

N&B Automation is responsible for personal information submitted through this website. If you have a privacy question, rights request or complaint, contact info@nbautomation.co.uk.

Information we collect

When you contact us or request a systems audit, we may collect your name, work email, company name, the details you provide about your business, and the outcome you want to achieve. The website may also process basic technical information such as your IP address, browser information, referring page and campaign parameters for security, troubleshooting and enquiry attribution.

Why we use it

We use enquiry information to respond to you, understand your requirements, prepare for discovery conversations, assess potential projects and keep appropriate business records. Where you ask us to discuss a potential service, processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract. We may also rely on our legitimate interests to operate, secure and improve our business and website.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use the website enquiry form to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

Who may process the information

We may use service providers for website hosting, email delivery, customer relationship management, automation, scheduling and project delivery. When you choose to open the discovery-call scheduler, we load the Cal.com booking service so you can select a time without leaving the N&B website. Information you enter into that booking experience is processed through Cal.com to provide the scheduling service. Depending on the provider, information may be processed outside the United Kingdom. Where required, we use an appropriate transfer mechanism or provider safeguards.

How long we keep it

Website enquiry records are normally retained for up to 24 months so we can follow up on legitimate business enquiries and maintain a record of discussions. If an enquiry becomes a client relationship, relevant information may be retained for longer where needed for contracts, accounting, security, legal obligations or dispute management. Short-lived security and rate-limit records are removed much sooner.

Cookies and analytics

This production build does not set non-essential analytics or advertising cookies. The Cal.com booking interface is loaded only after you choose to open the discovery-call experience and may use storage needed to provide scheduling functionality. The hosting platform may process standard server logs needed to operate and protect the site. If we introduce non-essential analytics, advertising technology or similar storage, we will update this notice and deploy any consent controls required by law before that technology is activated.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct or erase your personal information, restrict or object to processing, and receive information about how your data is used. To exercise a right, email info@nbautomation.co.uk. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Your right to object: where we rely on legitimate interests, you can object to that processing. We will consider the request in light of the reasons for the processing and applicable law.

Complaints

If you are concerned about how we handle personal information, please contact us first so we can investigate. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. Information about making a complaint is available at ico.org.uk.

Updates

We may update this notice when our services, suppliers or legal obligations change. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
